Submission Guidelines
This is a summary of our key guidelines, for indepth details and our full terms and conditions please make sure you read this page.
Qualification for entry
Submissions are accepted from all non-professional film makers. You
may contribute any genre, however your film must not exceed 25 minutes
in length
Entries submitted in languages
other than English will still only be considered by our
English-speaking judging panel, and therefore you may wish to consider
providing subtitles if dialogue is key to the film.
Submission format
You can submit your film on CD or DVD, to the address
below. We cannot at this time accept VHS, 35mm or 16mm prints, online links or email attachments.
Please ensure your submission is clearly labelled with your entry number, which is issued when you complete our online submission form.
Fees
No fee will be charged for your submission. No fee will be paid for
films selected for the festival.
Please ensure your submission has the correct postage and packing, we can not pay or contribute towards your costs of postage or materials.
Information to provide
All entries must complete our online entry form at the end of which you'll be issued with an entry number and details of where to send your media.
The online entry form will ask for the following details.
- Your name and contact details.
- The title of your film.
- A brief synopsis of the submission, including plot.
- A list of production credits.
- Short biographical details.
- Details of any previous or planned showings of your film.
We may also consider any other marketing materials you would like to
submit in relation to your film, this should be submitted at the point you post in your CD or DVD.
