Founded in 2006 the Angel Film Festival exists:

• to give time and attention to the pleasurable pursuit of creating & enjoying film;
  
• to give unknown, but talented film-makers an opportunity to showcase their independent spirit; and
  
• to create a relaxed and informal viewing place where art and beer meet.

The festival has been set up by three lovers of independent film:

Chris Timms
Chris has worked in the film industry for the last five years, first for the uk crewing service productionbase.co.uk and later heading up their LA operation media-match.com . Last year he founded the casting service castingcallpro.com. His favourite movie is Heathers and his favourite beer is 1664 Blanc

Rick Dickerson
Rick has written and directed a number of plays, including a critically acclaimed musical comedy for the Edinburgh festival. He also founded an independent London based film magazine, which focussed on the latest releases. His favourite movie is Animal Crackers and his favourite beer is Deuchars Tattoo.

Terrie McCann
Terrie has worked in the charity world for the last five years, managing a variety of ambitious projects from new buildings to groundbreaking medical research. She is an accomplished dancer whose repertoire includes being a backing dancer to Madonna lookalike and a chorus girl in return to the forbidden planet. Her favourite movie is Rear Window and her favourite beer is Hoegaarden.
